AT&T has asked to meet with an HOA representative on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 8:30AM, to drive around the neighborhood and discuss damages.

If you have a specific complaint regarding your home or your street, please put a note on the table at the front entrance of the clubhouse before 8:30AM on Friday, March 3, 2017.  The HOA representative will collect the notes at that time, and look out for those items during the drive-around with AT&T.  

The HOA representative will attempt to identify every issue that is visible to the naked eye, but if you want to ensure that your problem/damage is not missed, please put a note on the front table.  

We understand that there are many complaints regarding how AT&T left the neighborhood following its upgrades....poor sod work, boxes left open with cables hanging out, damage to Charter cables (such that now Charter cables are unburied), and the "speedbumps" on our streets.  Unfortunately, the HOA has no control over AT&T or the quality of its utility work.  

On behalf of the residents, the HOA has submitted numerous notices to AT&T regarding the issues, and we have continued to send follow-up communications to AT&T over the last several months.  Some of the problems have been resolved, but many have not.

We need your help!  If you have a complaint regarding your yard or your street, please contact AT&T directly.  The more folks who let AT&T know about the issues around our neighborhood, the more likely AT&T will be to fix them.

Please feel free to contact them as much and as often as you deem necessary if you have complaints about anything in your yard or on your street.  Only with the vigilance of the entire neighborhood will these issues get resolved.  

On April 8, 2017, the Cotswolds HOA will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Amberley Park for the neighborhood.  All residents are welcome to attend!  There will be lemonade and snacks and lots of hidden easter eggs for the kids!  
The Easter Egg Hunt will also be our Grand Opening for the new playground! The playground is still under construction, but it should be completed in 2-3 weeks.  In addition to the playsets already in place, the playground will have a swingset, spring riders, benches, and a nice mulch pad for safety.  We will also be installing doggie bag dispensers around the neighborhood to encourage people to pick up after their pets.

We are excited to announce that the Heavenly Donut Truck will be at the Cotswolds Clubhouse on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 7AM-10AM!  We hope you enjoy!

According to a representative of AT&T the fiber optic project should be complete in the next 1-2 months.  We understand this has been an inconvenience for many neighbors.  However, in the event that your yard is damaged as a result of digging, please contact Terri Williams with AT&T @ 205-215-1332 or [email protected].  She has been very helpful with addressing issues related to digging throughout the project.

Pool chairs have been ordered to replace the torn ones, but the production/delivery time is 4-6 weeks. Therefore, in the meantime, we are getting some much less expensive pool chairs to tide everyone over, which should arrive this week. Thanks for your patience with this!

The Clubhouse Pool opened for the Summer Season on May 14th.  We look forward to seeing everyone over the summer.

The Jefferson County Wastewater Management Department has supplied us with Mosquito Dunks. These are round pellets, shaped like donuts, which can be dropped into standing water to kill mosquito larvae.

Dear Townhome Neighbors:

As you may know, the landscaping company we contract with is in charge of maintenance/repair of the sprinkler systems in your yards. They will be coming on May 17th to do a maintenance check of every sprinkler in the neighborhood that they service.

Everyone should have received an email notifying you that AT&T will be performing maintenance in the upcoming months to install a fiber cable internet network to our neighborhood.  This will require digging in certain areas of the neighborhood.  Should you have any issues with digging as it is being done, Terri Williams from AT&T will be your contact.  Her contact information is provided below, and in the attached document.

The board has approved a measure regarding temporary party structures for weekend use only. They are allowed for weekends only without prior approval and should be erected on Friday and removed by 8am on Monday. Exceptions for weekdays will be considered on a case by case basis upon request to the ARC.

As your elected Homeowner's Association Board of Directors we want to make you aware of a change that has been made to our covenants to accommodate concerns expressed by many residents over the past few months. This change occurred prior to the elected board taking over control of the neighborhood's management.
