Fire Services:
In the event of an emergency, residents should dial 911.
A portion of the Cotswolds community is City of Birmingham and receives fire services from the City of Birmingham. These fire services are paid for by City of Birmingham residents through city taxes. The remainder of the Cotswolds community is unincorporated Jefferson County and receives fire services from the Rex Lake Fire Department, managed by the Cahaba Valley Fire District. Residents who receive fire services from the Rex Lake Fire District must pay annual dues to the Cahaba Valley Fire District. Questions regarding your fire dues or other administrative questions should be directed to the Cahaba Valley Fire District http://www.cahabavalleyfire.org/index.html
